Cheesy Pears with Walnuts

4 pears, peeled and cored

4 oz. blue cheese, crumbled

1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat your sous vide machine to 183°F (84°C).

Cut a small slice off the bottom of each pear so they can stand upright. In a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, chopped walnuts, salt, and pepper.

Stuff each pear with the cheese and walnut mixture.

Place the stuffed pears into a sous vide bag and add the honey and balsamic vinegar to the bag. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing.

Place the bag in the sous vide machine and cook for 1 hour.

Take the bag out of the sous vide machine and the stuffed pears out after one hour.

The leftover honey and balsamic vinegar sauce from the package should be poured over the cut-in-half Cheesy Pears with Walnuts before serving.
